Method |
In a cooker add 1 cup of raw rice, add 2 cups of water and cook upto 2 whistles. Once the steam is released add the rice to a broad vessel and let it cool. Add the coconut oil to a pan when oil is hot, add Black gram dal, Bengal Gram and when it becomes golden brown add mustard seeds and when it pops up put curry leaves. Now add grated coconut, chopped Green chilli and fry till the coconut becomes slightly brown then switch off the stove. Now add the seasonings, salt and mix well and garnish with cashew nuts. |
